Sleeping is an essential part of our overall well-being. When we are asleep, our body carries out the intensive make and brake work at cellular level. Sleeping also makes us more calm and agile for the next day of work. If someone is unable to sleep properly it can cause severe health problems.

Conditions that cause medical problems

Nicotine, caffeine, and alcohol
Coffee, tea, soda, and other beverages with caffeinated content are stimulants. Consuming them late in the afternoon or evening could prevent you from sleeping at the time of night. Nicotine, which is a component of tobacco products, is a different stimulant that could hinder sleep. Alcohol can aid in falling into sleep but doesn't allow more deep sleep and can trigger wakefulness in the middle of the night.
